Caught early, a stone chip can almost always be repaired — saving you the cost of a full windshield replacement. Here's when a repair is the right call:
- The chip is smaller than a loonie (25mm diameter)
- It's not in the driver's direct line of sight

- The damage doesn't reach the edge of the windshield
- The inner layer (interlayer) is intact
